Weaving Class 2009 (Nyungkit Method)

The Dayak Association of Miri Women’s Section will be organising the Pua Kumbu Weaving (Nyungkit) Class beginning 1st of July 2009. The class will be held from 8.00am – 4.00pm daily on Mondays to Fridays during the period at Ruai Francis Loke located on the 3rd floor of Rumah Dayak Miri.

The main objective of the weaving class is to maintain, perpetuate and promote greater awareness and skill of our traditional native culture and art amongst members of the local Dayak Communities.

This event is open to all members and non-members of the Dayak Association Miri. Those interested in Weaving Class 2009 (Nyungkit Method), please don’t be hesitating to contact the following names.
