Our History
1962 Dayak Association Miri was formed.
1970 Development from a humble wooden ex-SHELL building into concrete premises.
1980 Dynamic economic development in Miri Town.
1990 Transformed into one of the high commercial value building.

Our Objectives

• To continue to inculcate good teamwork spirit and nurture good discipline between the older and younger generations.
• To interact interest of socialize, promote cultural activities and unity.
• To show a good responsibilities and to build a good communication.
• To continuing social and economic development.

Our Mission

• To provide a sound structure whereby the members of our community can interact, pursue areas of common interest, socialize and promote culture activities and unity.
• Thus Dayak Association Miri (DAM) played an important role for these so called “early settlers”.

Our Vision
To observe that our Dayak Community has placed education, harmony and establishing good networking with other communities as guiding strength for our community to adjust to the process of urbanisation and meaningful participation towards the success of Wawasan 2020.
